E. B. Magalona Chief of Police Gratones Presents Award to Mayor Malacon

Police Major Kenneth Jay Gratones, chief of police of E. B. Magalona Municipal Police Station, presents to Mayor Marvin Malacon the certificate of recognition for E. B. Magalona MPS as the “Top Performing Municipal Police Station” in Negros Occidental in the province-wide Unit Performance Rating (UPER) for January 2023, with a rating of 91.69.

'PINTA BASURAHAN' CONTEST LAUNCHED

In celebration of the National Arts Month, the Municipal Government, led by Mayor Marvin Malacon, tapped the artistic talent of the students of E. B. Magalona National High School (EBMNHS) for its "Pinta Basurahan" 2023 Contest.


The E. B. Magalona MENRO (Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office) launched the Pinta Basurahan Contest Wednesday [Feb. 22], with MENRO-designate Jojo Vargas announcing the contest guidelines and mechanics during the flag ceremony at the E. B. Magalona National High School.

Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, representing Mayor Marvin Malacon who is currently attending an out-of-town assembly, and Sangguniang Bayan Members Wyndel Depasucat, Jovie Madayag, and Reylan Gamboa Sr. draped the Philippine flag on the casket of Dr. Lydia Carminales-Mogul, to honor her distinguished service to the people of E. B. Magalona as a former municipal councilor and a long-time physician, at her wake at the Gegato Chapel yesterday.

44 NEW PAIRS OF POLICE PATROL SHOES

In support of the E. B. Magalona Municipal Police Station, Mayor Marvin Malacon, assisted by Vice Mayor Eric Matulac and eight Sangguniang Bayan members, turned over 44 new pairs of PNP Patrol shoes to Major Kenneth Jay Gratones, chief of police, for the use of all his personnel, at rites this morning in front of the Municipal Hall.
