NUTRITION MONTH. The E. B. Magalona Municipal Government, spearheaded by the Municipal Nutrition Committee (MNC), holds a culmination program of the Nutrition Month, at the Public Plaza today [Oct. 13].

Attending the program were Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, who represented Mayor Marvin Malacon, chair of the MNC; Councilor Edgardo Agravante Jr, chair of the SB Committee on Health; Councilor Isidro Gomed Jr., Municipal Health Officer Dr. Edmundo Janeo Jr., also the action officer of the MNC; Barangay 1 Kagawad Nilo Ortizo, a member of the MNC representing the OFW Federation, and a barangay nutrition officer.

DepEd- E. B. Magalona Cluster I head Public Schools District Supervisor Angeles Verdeprado served as guest speaker.

The newly elected officers of the Barangay Health Workers Federation, led by its president, Lilibeth Montepio of Barangay 1, held their oath-taking ceremony, with DOH-DTTB (Doctors to the Barrios) Physician Dr. Frayne Marie Tampus as inducting officer.
