Two farmers' associations from the Municipality of E. B. Magalona have received five carabaos from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) of Negros Occidental recently.

Mayor Marvin Malacon said on Monday, July 29, that he hopes to see EB Magalona town in Negros Occidental become a city in 10 years.

Mayor Marvin Malacon and Executive Assistant Matthew Louis Malacon attended the opening ceremony for the weeklong Brigada Eskwela 2024 of E. B. Magalona National High School (EBMNHS) Monday [July 22] to show their support for the program.

A bustling fish market in EB Magalona town, Negros Occidental, where fresh sea catch is sold to buyers from various parts of the province is earning from P1 million to P1.5 million in sales a day, Mayor Marvin Malacon said on Saturday, July 6.

The 35th Ugyonan Festival of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona officially kicked off today with a Grand Opening Ceremony at the Public Plaza, marking three days of highlight activities.

BACOLOD CITY – The municipality of E. B. Magalona in Negros Occidental has put the spotlight on its famous products – blue crabs and coffee – in celebrating 35 years of its main fiesta, the Ugyonan Festival, which is being held until May 1.

The 1st Saravia Culinary Contest held Saturday at the Public Plaza showcased two of the famous products of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona, and highlighted their culinary versatility.
