The OWWA, assisted by the OFWs Help Desk and MDRRMO of E. B. Magalona, fetched Saraviahanon OFW Liezel Labial, 50, upon her arrival at the Bacolod-Silay Airport on Thursday night, February 16, 2023 and brought her home in Barangay Tuburan. Labial suffered stroke while working as a housekeeper in Hong Kong.

Three more distressed and displaced Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from E. B. Magalona have received financial assistance of P5,000 each from the Provincial Government on Monday, February 13, 2023.
