The 35th Ugyonan Festival of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona officially kicked off today with a Grand Opening Ceremony at the Public Plaza, marking three days of highlight activities.

BACOLOD CITY – The municipality of E. B. Magalona in Negros Occidental has put the spotlight on its famous products – blue crabs and coffee – in celebrating 35 years of its main fiesta, the Ugyonan Festival, which is being held until May 1.

The 1st Saravia Culinary Contest held Saturday at the Public Plaza showcased two of the famous products of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona, and highlighted their culinary versatility.

The six-day Agro-Aqua Trade Fair opens today [April 26] and will run until May 1, as part of the 35th Ugyonan Festival of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona.

A total of 134 applicants for student driver's permit, coming from E. B. Magalona and neighboring cities, have finished the two-day Theoretical Driving Course Seminar conducted at the town's Public Plaza on April 25-26.

The Municipality of E. B. Magalona hosted the coastal cleanup drive, spearheaded by the Provincial Environment Management Office (PEMO), to mark this year’s Earth Day celebration Monday [April 22].
