GRAND OPENING CEREMONY FOR UGYONAN FESTIVAL 2024

The 35th Ugyonan Festival of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona officially kicked off today with a Grand Opening Ceremony at the Public Plaza, marking three days of highlight activities.

Leading the ceremony were Mayor Marvin Malacon, Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, Sangguniang Bayan Members Gilda Parcon, Edgardo Agravante Jr., Wyndel Depasucat, Jovie Madayag, Gelita Parcon, Reylan Gamboa Sr., Joey Pugales, Isidro Gomed Jr., and Executive Assistant Matthew Louis Malacon.

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go delivered his message through a video recording.

The guest of honor and speaker was Victorias City Mayor Javier Miguel “Javi” Benitez.

The 10 candidates for Lin-ay sang Ugyonan 2024 were presented to the public, as well as the Festival Dances.

Joining the opening ceremony were Municipal and Barangay officials, Municipal Government personnel, DepEd school heads, teachers, and students; St. Joseph the Worker priests and parishioners, market vendors, fisherfolks, farmers, drivers, members of women's associations, senior citizens, members of LGBT community, and personnel of various national government agencies including PNP, Army, BJMP, and BFP.

This year's theme is, "Ugyonan: G na G @ 35."
