Mayor Marvin M. Malacon led the turn-over of the initial 25 units of knapsack sprayers to the farmers of Brgy. Alacaygan while 45 units are still to be distributed to the farmers of Brgy. Consing, Brgy. San Isidro and Brgy. Canlusong.

Also present during the turn-over were Mr. Adonis Auquico, Office of the Municipal Agriculturist Project Coordinator, Municipal Agriculturist Mr. Rhett Parcon and Councilors Jovy Madayag, Jun Gomed, Eric Matulac, Reylan Gamboa Sr., Gelita Parcon, Arnolfo Parcon and Joey Pugales.

“As a ‘tumandok’ Saraviahanon, I am glad that many of our farmer brothers and sisters, especially those who are poor and indigent, are benefiting from initiatives such this. Aside from the knapsack sprayers, we are also distributing other farm implements and support to improve the productivity of our farmers”, Mayor Malacon said.

Part of the various programs to enhance agricultural productivity and development in the municipality, mostly desired to benefit the poor Saraviahanon farmers, this is in line with the priority programs of Mayor Malacon under his administration’s “TUMANDOK CARES” Point Development Agenda.
