E. B. Magalona Police Station Holds Community Outreach for 300 Pupils

The E. B. Magalona Municipal Police Station (EBM MPS), 6th Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office- Police Community Affairs and Developmet Unit (NOcPPO- PCADU), 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loans Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI) held a community outreach project for 300 pupils of E. B. Magalona Elementary School (EBMES) on July 28.

The activity was led by Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, who represented Mayor Marvin Malacon; EBM MPS deputy chief of police PCapt. Markelly Laganipa, NOcPPO- PCADU chief PLtCol Norberto Barniso, AFPSLAI Bacolod City assistant branch manager Lorie Mae Dela Peña, EBMES principal Rufino Delfin, and PNP Interfaith life coach Pastor Hernani Pallan.

The pupils received school supplies and snacks. The activity was in line with the 28th Police Community Relations Month, with the theme, “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa Para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan."

It was also in support of the PNP's revitalized KASIMBAYANAN (KApulisan, SIMBAhan, at PamaYANAN) program. The program aims to strengthen the partnership between the police and the community to create a safe and prosperous environment for everyone.

The community outreach project was well-received by the pupils and their parents. They expressed their gratitude to the police and their partners for the support.
