EB Magalona Holds 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
#QuakeDrill | Personnel of the Municipal Government of E. B. Magalona perform the "Duck, Cover, and Hold," then exited the buildings and ran to safer ground, as part of the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today [June 8] around 9 a. m.
The activity was spearheaded by the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), headed by Mayor Marvin Malacon; the MDRRM Office, headed by Mary Angeline Gustilo; the Municipal Police Station, headed by Police Major Kenneth Jay Gratones; and the Municipal Fire Station, headed by SFO3 Divino Sibay.
The drill was based on the directives of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), through the Office of Civil Defense.*
