Another batch of 50 beneficiaries of DOLE- TUPAD (Department of Labor and Employment – Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers) from E. B. Magalona received their wages during a payout at the Saravia Commercial Building last Jan. 30.

Leading the payout was PESO manager- designate Maricris Chavez.

The beneficiaries received P4,800 in wages after rendering 10 days of cleanup drive and waste segregation in their respective communities.

Earlier, the beneficiaries were given PPEs (personal protective equipment) - comprised of long sleeves shirt, printed DOLE cap, and face masks - for use in the cleanup drive and waste segregation.

It can be recalled that 540 beneficiaries from E. B. Magalona also received their DOLEe-TUPAD wages at the Public Plaza last Jan. 10.*
