Saraviahanon, led by Mayor Marvin Malacon, pay their last respects to former E. B. Magalona Mayor and Third District Board Member Atty. Reynaldo P. Depasucat, at the necrological service held at the Lobby of the E. B. Magalona Municipal Building today [May 6], in honor of his remarkable life and outstanding public service to Saraviahanon and Negrenses.

The Sanggunian passed a resolution "expressing the profound grief, sympathy, and condolence of the Sangguniang Bayan Members of the Municipality of E. B. Magalona to the bereaved family of the late former Mayor and Board Member Atty. Reynaldo P. Depasucat."

Vice Mayor Eric Matulac read the resolution at the tribute program, and along with SB Members, handed a copy to the Depasucat family.

The Office of the Mayor also handed a memorabilia to the family.

Municipal employees Aileen Bilbao and Eva Dongon delivered special messages recounting their good memories of Atty. Depasucat and expressing their gratitude to him.

The Mass was officiated by Fr. Jonas Sumagaysay, Fr. Rolly Albert Escubido, and Fr. Filomeno Duaban Jr.

Atty. Depasucat passed away on May 1, 2023, the highlight of the 34th Ugyonan Festival, which started during his mayorship in 1989.

He was 73.

His remains will be transferred to the St. Joseph the Worker Parish, also in E. B. Magalona, tomorrow [Sunday] at 8:00 AM.*
