Mayor Marvin Malacon turns over housing materials
Mayor Marvin Malacon turns over housing materials - comprised of corrugated metal sheets, nails, plywood and nipa- to the 10 families of Sitio Takas in Barangay Tuburan yesterday afternoon [Nov. 3].
The 10 families had their respective houses totally damaged by Severe Tropical Storm "Paeng" last week.
Malacon said each family with totally damaged houses will also receive a cash assistance of P5,000.
Likewise, the municipal government is also giving housing materials to about 40 families of Sitio Takas whose houses were partially damaged, pending assessment of the Municipal Engineer's Office.
Assisting in the distribution of housing materials yesterday were Municipal Planning and Development Office head Engr. Erwin Poniado, and Tuburan Punong Barangay Ramonito Espacio Jr.*
