Mayor Marvin Malacon turned over certified palay seeds to farmers of Barangays Canlusong
The Municipal Government of E. B. Magalona, led by Mayor Marvin Malacon, turned over certified palay seeds to 75 farmers of Barangays Canlusong, San Isidro, and Tuburan yesterday [Nov. 3].
Of the 75 farmers, 30 also received checks for indemnity assistance from the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), facilitated by rhe municipal government.
The beneficiaries were affected by Severe Tropical Storm "Paeng" last week.
The turnover ceremony was led by Mayor Marvin Malacon, assisted by Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, Councilor Jovie Madayag, Councilor Joey Pugales, Councilor Isidro Gomed Jr., Municipal Planning and Development Office head Engr. Erwin Poniado, and OIC-Municipal Agriculturist Efren Garcia Jr.
Also attending the event were Kagawad Ricky Diaz and Kagawad Rolly Isogon, both of Barangay Tuburan.*
