E. B. Magalona, Mayor Marvin Malacon join 22nd Provincial Tourism Week
The Municipality of E. B. Magalona, headed by Mayor Marvin Malacon, joins the 22nd Provincial Tourism Week set September 19 to 23 at the 1st floor of the Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod City.
With the theme, “Rethinking Tourism,” the celebration features the unique products and produce, tourism destinations, arts and culture, and investment opportunities in the 13 cities and 19 towns of Negros Occidental.
Ma. Teresa Alvarez, designated municipal tourism officer of E. B. Magalona, said the town’s booth displays and sells the town’s world-famous steamed blue crabs, Canlusong coffee, “guinamos” (shrimp paste), peanut butter, and cane vinegar.
They also sell the products of E. B. Magalona-based producers like the misua, tausiam, pancit canton, and molo balls of Samson, and the pork tocino, pork lumpia, and other frozen food of Yam Food Products.

The municipality is also joining the ongoing photo contest and tour-guiding competition.
