The town proper of E. B. Magalona will turn festive when the Christmas Lights at the Municipal Hall, Public Plaza, Saravia Commercial Building, and surrounding area will be formally switched on this Wednesday, December 7, at 6:00 p.m.

Mayor Marvin Malacon will lead the ceremonial switch-on, after he delivers his Christmas message, at a program that will be held in front of the Municipal Hall.

Also delivering their Christmas messages are Vice Mayor Eric Matulac, who will welcome guests, and Councilors Gilda Parcon, Edgardo Agravante Jr., Wyndel Depasucat, Jovie Madayag, Gelita Parcon, Reylan Gamboa Sr., Joey Pugales, and Isidro Gomed Jr.

Adding to the Christmassy atmosphere are the performances of the DepEd Chorale that will do a medley of Christmas songs, Teatro Laragway that will stage a sing-and-dance number, Lyzette Pollentes who will render a song number, and The Singing Legislators, composed of the Sangguniang Bayan members.

The switch-on program will be preceded by a Zumba Party that will start at 4:00 p.m., and will be concluded by a concert of a local band that will start around 7:00 p.m.*
