P/Major Kenneth Jay Gratones, chief of police of the E. B. Magalona Municipal Police Station, presented to Mayor Marvin Malacon today [Jan. 23] the two plaques of recognition that he received for EBM MPS yesterday, during the Monday’s flag-raising ceremonies of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.

These two additional awards were Top Performing Municipal Police Station with the Most Number of Police Operations Against Loose Firearms for 2023 and Top Performing Municipal Police Station with the Most Number of Operations on Anti-Illegal Gambling for 2023.

The EBM MPS had earlier received plaques of recognition for being the Top Performing Municipal Police Station in Negros Occidental for the whole 12 months of 2023.

Mayor Malacon commended the men and women of the E. B. Magalona PNP for the organization’s outstanding performance for the whole year of 2023, as well as the accomplishments attained in pursuit of the PNP mission to maintain peace and order in the community as well as the municipality of E.B. Magalona.*
